This is the episode where Gon starts to show a bit of his "unhinged side". No SANE person would actually try and catch Razor's ball yet Gon did that all the way. Not even Killua at the start tried to, let that one sink in.

Gon is really very selfish, just like his Dad!
He knew his hands are crushed but he’s still insisting and let him (Killua) hold the ball. This guys just do what he wants or what he likes. He don’t even listen to anyone. Infact, it won’t be wrong if you say, he don’t even care about anyone or anything except the one he think is right.
